Progression of macaws growth
Hybrid Macaws hatched 11/22/01, 11/24/01, 11/27/01
These pictures are of my birds but they are not the parents of the Catalina Macaws below. I purchased them from a breeder in California. The breeders birds looked just like these.

This bonded Catalina pair is unrelated and have produced the chicks below.

I was so thrilled when two eggs hatched but delighted when three eggs hatched. This pair has previously only produced one chick at a time.

On the 19th the adults stopped feeding the three babies so I continued the hand feeding. This was two weeks earlier than I planned. Night feeding 11:00pm and 4:00am. Then six feedings a day. They eat so much. WOW
